Under this collaboration, Amber Connect, led by its founder and CEO, Dushyant Savadia, aims to elevate its service offerings by integrating new security features such as stolen vehicle recovery and panic button services. These features were previously unavailable to Amber Connect’s clientele, marking a significant enhancement in the company’s service capabilities.

Savadia expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “This is a synergistic collaboration that will mutually benefit our customers and Hawkeye’s clientele. Amber Connect customers will now gain access to Hawkeye’s extensive security network, while Hawkeye’s customers can utilize Amber’s advanced tracking technology.”

Hawkeye, headquartered on Belmont Road in Kingston, is well-regarded for its security response services across 14 nationwide locations. Competing with other industry players like King Alarm and Guardsman’s Metaverse service, Hawkeye’s collaboration with Amber Connect will integrate advanced vehicle tracking, geofencing, and immobilization technologies with Hawkeye’s well-established security infrastructure.

Our network will now provide Amber’s customers with professional monitoring and rapid response capabilities, significantly enhancing their security.”

1. Phase One: Stolen Vehicle Recovery and Panic Button Services
   The initial phase will see the integration of Amber Connect’s technology with Hawkeye’s security expertise to offer stolen vehicle recovery services and a panic button feature. This collaboration aims to boost the efficiency of vehicle recovery efforts by leveraging Hawkeye’s armed response teams.
2. Phase Two: ‘Follow Me’ Feature
   In the second phase, Amber Connect will introduce the ‘Follow Me’ feature, which provides customers with armed security escorts during late-night or potentially risky journeys. This service ensures that users have access to on-demand security coverage to ensure safe travels.
3. Phase Three: ‘Stand By Me’ Feature
   The third phase will introduce the ‘Stand By Me’ feature, allowing customers to request armed security assistance if their vehicle breaks down in a potentially unsafe area. Security personnel will remain with the customer until help arrives, enhancing personal safety in uncertain situations.

Savadia highlighted the flexibility of these new offerings, noting that services would be available on an on-demand basis rather than requiring high annual fees. “Jamaicans will have the flexibility to access security services as needed, paying a nominal fee similar to a wrecker service,” he explained. Payment for these services will be facilitated through Amber Pay, providing a seamless and efficient transaction process.
