Caribbean Cement Company Pauses Operations Amid Tropical Storm Rafael to Ensure Safety

Caribbean Cement Company Limited (CCCL) has announced that, in light of the severe weather conditions associated with Tropical Storm Rafael, it is temporarily taking its operations offline as a precautionary measure. This decision reflects the company’s priority of ensuring the safety of its employees and safeguarding its operations during the storm’s passage.

In a statement issued to the public, CCCL assured its stakeholders and customers that it has proactively strengthened its inventory of cement products to meet market demands and mitigate any potential disruptions. The company emphasized that despite this temporary shutdown, it is fully prepared to maintain supply once the storm threat subsides.
“While operations will be temporarily halted, our team has taken all necessary steps to ensure there is minimal impact on the availability of products.
