Caribbean Producers Jamaica (CPJ) Launches the Cellar Society

The ambiance of Mystic Thai restaurant was laced with an air of sophistication as wine enthusiasts adorned in masks gathered for the Caribbean Producers of Jamaica (CPJ) launch of The Cellar Society. The event, held under a strict all-black and masquerade dress code tailored to wine aficionados, proved to be a significant addition to the culinary scene.

The Cellar Society, with its mission to redefine wine consumption, embarked on a journey to blur the lines between wines and gastronomy. The evening unfolded with dinner guests treated to a sensory delight as they indulged in Antinori Wines paired impeccably with hors d’oeuvres crafted by the Mystic Thai kitchen. Each varietal was carefully selected to complement the flavors and textures of Thai cuisine.

Guests were encouraged to engage further by scanning QR codes available at their tables, facilitating registration for a quarterly wine subscription. The subscription offers three distinct categories: the Fun Lover’s Box, the Aficionado Box, and the Director’s Cut Box.

Kemmar Lewis, CPJ’s regional category manager for Wines, Spirits, and RTDs, expressed his enthusiasm for launching The Cellar Society. He remarked, “Jamaica’s wine culture has undergone tremendous evolution, and with The Cellar Society, CPJ transcends the mere delivery of monthly wine cases to curate experiential occasions. By partnering with restaurateurs across Jamaica, we aim to provide exclusive gastronomy events highlighting wine.”
